At Inspired Schools we are passionate to make a difference in young people’s lives, we want to create more active, healthier and happier schools.

Our vision is to impact schools across the United Kingdom, reducing childhood obesity by getting children and families active. We want to help children to engage more with their learning, through incorporating our products, projects and training throughout the schools, we know that increasing physical activity via physical education coaching can improve attainment, attendance and behaviour

Our Team

We are so proud of our staff team and what we have achieved, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, during which we were fully functional.  We all share the same passion and drive help children, schools and families become healthier, more active, all whilst having FUN.

During his spare time Joe coaches and plays cricket and hockey, for Wembdon Cricket Club and Bridgwater Hockey Club. He is also a coach for the Middlezoy Junior Football club for the U13s team which he has done since the team first started playing football at 6 years old and has followed them up through the age groups. Joe also enjoys taking part in pub quizzes, using his vast knowledge on sport and Marvel films to his teams advantage!

Sam Armitage

I have a wealth of experience in  coaching where I traveled to the USA back in 2016 to coach football. I also spent several summers in the USA with Camp  America working with children on summer camps. 

I took my previous school team to the King Power Stadium in Lecister to take part in the Premier League Primary Stars finals day. 

In my free time I coach Middlezoy Girls football as well as playing myself for Ilminster Town. In the summer months I play cricket for Roadwater. 

I recently won the FA grassroots coach of the year for youth football. 

My hidden talent is I love to sing 🎤

Dan played football up until aged 18, during this time he fell in love with coaching being head goalkeeper coach for Priory Pumas at just 16. Once youth football had finished Dan also took on a development team at the club, during this time he completed his coaching qualifications. This experience allowed Dan to complete a degree with Bristol City Fc in community football coaching and development, this led to him gaining himself a job as a Women and Girls community coach working on a number of projects with the club, which Dan still does today. Dan also loves Tennis and was a member at Winscombe tennis club.

Hi everyone I’m Zak and I have had the pleasure of working for inspired schools since January of 2022.
My coaching journey started when I was 14 when I started helping out at ashcott football club, I am still with that same group today as the team manager, as they enter their under 13s season.
I also have the privilege of managing a men’s football team in the yeovil and district league as well as running up Street’s disability football program.
My proudest sporting achievements  is being able to compete at county level or above in Handball and Table tennis (AOC south west champion 2019)
